It’s only just over a week since Aston Martin was sold, but today it confirmed plans to race at Le Mans. The DBR9 will return to the famous La Sarthe circuit in June. Perhaps this was inevitable, since Aston’s new non-executive chairman is David Richards - the chairman of Prodrive, which develops the DBR9 and its FIA GT3-spec sister car, the DBRS9.
The Lexus IS 250C launched in Japan this week - and will reach the UK in July
The IS Convertible comes in two flavours – the Lexus IS250 C and the 350C – although the initial launch is just the IS 250C. The IS 350C will launch later in the year. Lexus has been working on the IS Convertible for some time, and is aiming it straight in the sites of similar offerings from both BMW and Audi.
This is the new Audi A6 Avant, a crucial new model for Audi UK as the current car makes up 43% of A6 sales here in Blighty. The new Audi A6 Avant is bigger, lighter and better all round than the model it replaces. Important stuff first – how big is the boot on the new Audi A6 Avant?
